The Electric Flare
One of the most marketable products I ever lost

The Electric Flare-The Only Flare You'll ever need.

The product is currently being marketed by coleman, and I have to say it's one heck of a product. Uses an LED, just like in my design, runs for long periods (they claim over 250 hours on 2 AA batteries) on small batteries, and the light beam can be seen from over 1000 feet.

This is not the only design that I had for development of the electric flare, so I will show the alternate designs which I also sent them as soon as I get the time.

Another great product, and I'm sure it's selling like hot cakes, as if Coleman needs the money.

Here's The Story On This One:

This particular invention I submitted to an "invention development" firm that I was working with. based in Minnesota.
I submitted this invention along with a slew of others that all revolved around this same topic which is flashing lights

The invention development center had seen this product a full year before it began to be produced, by someone else. No royalties have been recieved by me for the use of this particular product although I can gurantee that I have signed and dated documentaion confirming that my designs pre dated thier own. This is not to say that the 'IDF' had released the information, only that the time elapsed was enough to allow another company to profit completely. This is also of course fault of my own for not acting faster to try and get this product out there myself.

The specific name of the development corporation has been witheld, as I was asked by the owner to remove it. He is a friend of mine, and evidently mentioning thier name in this post was in some way defamatory. The Lone Inventor will assure you that it was not ISC or someother fly by night operation. It was a legitimate firm, with whom I have done business.
