The Cube Splitter 03-16-04
This device would increase the effeciency of wood harvesting

This device was concieved after witnessing the wide spread usage of inefficient wood splitters.

Many people still use wood burning stoves across the world. Many people harvest thier own wood from the forest. Most people who use a wood burning stove as thier only source of heat, do not purchase wood from the grocery store at $5 a bundle.

There are a variety of products avaliable at your local hardware store to accomodate these consumers. From chain saws to axes, and finally the wood splitter.

The woodsplitter was originally designed for elderly people, who desired to sut thier own wood, but did not posess the neccesarry strenght or stamina to chop wood over long periods, or at all. A hydrolic wood spiltting system was devised. Soon these devices were finding use in more than just the eldewrly markets. Many people now have and use these devices.

The Cube Splitter is different in fact that instead of using a single wedge to split the wood into two parts, several are used to cut the piece or "round" of wood into multiple pieces at the same time.
