Inventor's PodCasts are now available here on the site! I'm very excited about this feature, and am really hopeful that it will turn into a very useful tool.

As you are probably aware, a podcast is simply an .mp3 file download with the associated RSS feeds. This means anyone with access to a Windows media player, Real Player, Winamp etc. can download audio files from the site.

I have setup a few initial categories for these podcast downloads. Currently there are General , Patents, Provisionals, and Inventing/Prototyping categories. These will of course grow over time.

I have been working on this module off and on all week, mostly the backend of trying to get it all working. In other words there's not yet a whole lot of content available, but there's more on the way.

You can help with that as well. If you have an inventor's related podcast, and would like to have it on the air, send me an e-mail! We'll see if we can get it posted.

Currently the files are quite small to save on space and bandwidth. The audio quality seems alright however, and the size cannot be beat. Even a dial-up user should be able to obtain audio easily at this point. If you have any comments about the audio quality, or if you are having problems with the downloads, please send me an e-mail and I'll respond as quickly as possible.
