The Lone News: New Inventor's Resource - FreePatentAuction.Com

The Lone Inventor News

So you have a patent, and want to make a deal for it's sale or license... Where could you do such a thing, and for free no less? The answer? freepatentauction.com

This site allows inventors to post their patent free of charge, and you simply cannot beat that. I often get questions about some service sites offering to post a "your invention" type page, for pretty hefty fees. So far, I have been hesitant to recommend such services for several reasons, namely cost. Why pay so much per month, when you could do a lot more on your own and for less money?

FreePatentAuction.com however, is different. They don't charge you a fee, and they don't charge anyone else either! Many of the outfits mentioned earlier with their paid "your invention here" type pages charge a fee not only to you, but also a fee to "allow" a potential manufacturer, or other would-be licensee. Now what sense does that make?

They have a "Why Use FreePatentAuction" page which basically says, look it's Easy, just sign up for a free account, upload your pictures, patent drawings, data etc. and get it posted. Its Free, again no charge to you or anyone else for this service. Its Non-Exclusive, there's no reason you can't have your patents posted elsewhere, or pursue other marketing activities, and hey what can it hurt? Its Eficient, as the site has good ranking in the major search engines and there's a great chance you will come up for a relevant search.

I recommend you check it out today, even if you are not interested in posting any patents up there right now, you may be in the future and it makes a great reference. Check it out and let us know what you think!
