The Lone News: New Inventor's Resource - eMachineShop.Com

The Lone Inventor News

Well, I have found a real dandy of a site, and I'm not at all exaggerating when I say that it's really the best thing since sliced bread for inventors. Before I go on, let me state for the record that I am not affiliated with this site in any way, nor am I being paid to endorse it.

Have you ever wanted to draw that part you've been working on in a CAD program, and then get a quick price quote for how much it's going to cost you to produce? How about an Immediate price quote? Well your wait is over! eMachineShop.Com is here to assist you with just that.

Who would use eMachineShop.Com? Inventors, large companies, small companies, labs, universities, schools, individuals, manufacturers, product designers, mechanics, scientists, and even conventional shops.

Some of the materials they will work with include, aluminum, steel, stainless, copper, sheet metal, brass, bronze, wood, nylon, acetal, polycarbonate, polystyrene, Acrylic, Plastic, Fiber Glass and numerous others. They will finish your designs in powder coating, brushing, electro-plating, anodizing, and surface grinding.

They perform injection molding, milling, turning, laser cutting, waterjet cutting, wire EDM, tapping bending, blanking, punching, plastic extrusion, and thermoforming

Don't have a CAD program? No problem! You can download a free CAD program from eMachineShop.Com. It's about a 5 megabyte download, so it's in reach even for those on a dial-up connection. The CAD program is complete, and intuitive.

I was directed to this site by the PR firm representing it's owner, Jim Lewis. Jim is an inventor, and I will be doing an interview with him shortly about the projects he's working on, as well as eMachineShop.Com He originally designed the site, because he saw that even the large companies, GE for example, have to go through the same "run around" with manufacturers to get price quotes that small entities, like independent inventors do. This lead him eventually to the creation of this magnificent site.

I definitely encourage you to check it out. Inventors, engineers, and anyone else who needs a specially designed part should find great benefits from using eMachineShop.Com.
