NOTE:

This post has been recently updated (10-13-2005) due to improper content in some posts!!! Not good! Please read this, and do your best to abide by it...

Please take a couple minutes to read these rules. Failure to follow them may result in your post being pulled, so it's worth the time...

Preface:

First of all, let me say that I hate to have rules at all. I am really not opposed to any certain political or religious persuasion, and I would rather that the board simply regulate itself. I enjoy the freedom of speech as you should. For instance I do not have any filters whatsoever activated for this forum, or the site, however, please do not abuse it. Once again, I have faith that you are all good people, and are willing to articulate your points in an intelligent and rational manner without the use of vulgarity.

Everyone should realize that there ARE young inventive children looking through these forums, please post accordingly!! If you would not feel comfortable reading your post to a small child, or to your grandmother, DONT POST IT HERE!.

This is the attitude that I will go into it with. Please don't make me change this policy.

First of all:

If you post a topic, be descriptive as to the actual content of the topic. "A topic", or "A cool something or other" does not qualify as a well described topic.
The reason why I have laid out the forum as I have is to ensure that it stays fairly well organized as time goes on. Please help me keep it this way. That way you, and everyone else will be able to find and post the information you are looking for, or are looking to post.

Second:

Please feel free to introduce yourself, in the Introduce Yourself forum, so that you and everyone else has a chance to get to know you a little better. Such discourse ensures that an individuals true point of view comes across in the text that is written by them. It is sometimes difficult to get a "sense of humor" across adequately in a forum. This is intended to alleviate some of that.

Third:

You are free to use an avatar of your choosing, and you may even upload one from your computer, or have the site download one from a url online. Linking to avatars on remote servers is not permitted, because it causes extra load time, and the only server I can guarantee better be up, is this one. Nothing is more annoying than images that don't load.

Fourth:

Please enjoy yourself. The web has really turned into a much more active community in recent years. Having a good conversation with someone on the other side of the world is very enlightening for all involved.
Get to know your fellow posters, and please try to show respect for another individuals point of view, they will (should) do the same for you.

That's about it
