This sounds like a fairly straight forward recreation/replication procedure. What is it? Well, from the information I get the Khaos Turbo Charger sounds like a blower attached to the air intake of your automobile. The device increases performance while increasing gas milage.
Pablo Planas the inventor has asked his government to release it to the people however they as of yet have failed to do so.
You can read the original post about his invention Khaos Super Turbo Charger
Replicate this thing! Any type of blower should have an affect although too much air flow can cause the engine to run to lean and burn up so use caution of course.
Please post any success you have, pictures etc, right here.
The Khaos Super Turbo Charger is NOT a turbocharger or a forced induction device at all, as shown in the picture below:
Basically it is an air bleed device.
If you want to replicate it, its not that difficult.
Here is a view with the device disassembled:
At www.tsikot.com, there has been a long running discussion about the Khaos device and its effectiveness between our local car enthusiasts and Khaos' people (from Inventionhaus). As of today, there has been NO concrete proof that the device lives up to its claims. The fact that the "pro-Khaos" people has denied that the device is an air-bleed device from the start has seriously given doubt on their credibility.

ghosthunter,
You are absolutely right, after seeing those pictures, there is no denying the fact that it is not a turbo charger, or any type or forced air system.
Tony from over at www.fuelsaving.info had clued me into the fact that there was no turbo charger involved, he did not however have pictures to back it up.
I tended to believe him anyway though, as there have been many air bleed systems introduced to the market in years past.
Yes, the very fact that they deny the nature of the device, which seems to be self evident, is a perhaps telling...
A great discussion there, IMHO about the device, and it's functioning.
Should be pretty simple to replicate, as you have said. Looks very simple actually. Perhaps for testing purposes if someone was interested in obtaining one over here on the US it should be replicated instead of purchased, as I'm not even sure that you can purchase them at all here, and they are rather expensive.
Almost looks like you could put one together with parts lying around the garage... Maybe that's what Planas did?

hi! i really do looking for device that can really save gasoline. tnx for this forum 'coz i'm considering "khaos" then. how about "Fuel Master? (http://www.harborfreight.com/cpi/ctaf/displayitem.taf?itemnumber=36098) or "Ace Power" Japanese made?

Hi stinger, and welcome!
Well, I have pulled apart one of the "Fuel Master" type devices. They basically consist of two ceramic magnets in a small plastic container that is plastic tied onto the fuel line of your vehicle.
Now whether this saves gas or not, I can't really tell you as I haven't done any before and after tests. I will say that I put one on my old RV with a 440 big block in it, and the throttle response was faster. It did run cooler too as a matter of fact. I need to do some current tests with a device like that, and post some results.
I did make my own however. Magnets are cheap to obtain. Here in Idaho, we have a lot of "feed stores" where they sell farm equipment and so forth. They make what they call "cow magnets" that are very powerful, long magnetic cylinders. They are made to be fed to the cow, and to pull from their system and metallic contaminates, barbed wire etc. These work really well for a device like this. There's always the local Radio Shack as well, they sell packs of ceramic magnets, rectangular, circular and so on.
If it's the magnetism that has the effect, then the more strength, the better right? You might consider trying a Neodymium magnet, as they are exceedingly powerful for their size.
Again, I can't guarantee anything, but magnets are cheap and it's certainly worth a try. Sure can't hurt!
I haven't heard of the Ace Power deal... so can't really comment on that one.
Have you seen the tornado? They sell those in my local auto parts store. They basically consist of a small fan blade like apparatus that fits inside your air cleaner, or the air cleaner duct depending on your vehicle. I have heard great results from those.
I made my own one of those as well, also for the 440 RV, out of a coffee can with a pair of tin snips and pliers. It did indeed do something, although it seemed to be leaning up my mixture significantly as I was experiencing a "pinging". Simply richening the mixture, or adjusting the timing probably would have solved that problem, however I didn't have the time for further tests at that time.
This is on an older vehicle as well mind you, that was meant to run on leaded fuel originally so... A modern vehicle capable of "self tuning" the appropriate fuel mixture and timing would probably be much better at adjusting to one of these devices.
Well, I must run right now but I hope that helps. Again, welcome, and I hope you find the site to be a useful resource for you.
hi TheLoneInventor and tnx for the reply! yap, i've heard about the Tornado but haven't try it yet. anyway, will try first your suggestions (especially the "magnetism" thing ).

Bryan/stinger,
BTW, this magnetic "array" should be placed on the fuel line itself as close to the carburator, throttle body injector, or intake manifold as possible, on the intake side, not the excess fuel return side. Good luck, and let us know about your results, is you are able to do any tests with your vehicle. Thanks!

Hello binong, and welcome!
That "super fuel max" device is the exact same device I mentioned above called the "Fuel Master" with the exception of the type of magnets used. They are using what they call "Neodymium Super Conductors" in other words neodymium magnets instead of the ceramic type.
I wouldn't give them that much dough for one though, those neodymiun magnets are much more expensive that the ceramics, but not that expensive. Check out http://www.wondermagnet.com or http://www.kjmagnetics.com/ for a supply of them very reasonably.
Just strap them onto the fuel line, arranged in attraction as close to the carburetor, or fuel injectors as possible. You should notice a difference, let us know if you get some results.
For reference, here are some patents for these devices:
U.S. Patent 3,830,621 - Process and Apparatus for Effecting Efficient Combustion.
U.S. Patent 4,188,296 - Fuel Combustion and Magnetizing Apparatus used therefor.
U.S. Patent 4,461,262 - Fuel Treating Device.
U.S. Patent 4,572,145 - Magnetic Fuel Line Device.
U.S. Patent 5,124,045 - Permanent Magnetic Power Cell System for Treating Fuel Lines for More Efficient Combustion and Less Pollution.
U.S. Patent 5,331,807 - Air Fuel Magnetizer.
U.S. Patent 5,664,546 - Fuel Saving Device.
U.S. Patent 5,671,719 - Fuel Activation Apparatus using Magnetic Body.
U.S. Patent 5,829,420 - Electromagnetic Device for the Magnetic Treatment of Fuel.
Also, check out this link:
http://www.tinet.org/~sje/mag_fuel.htm (where I got the above patent list...) for some positive information, and keep in mind the information given needs to be verified independently, in other words get some magnets, and strap them on! Let us know how it goes. They are offering free information however, not selling a product although there is an advertising banner at the bottom for the "tornado fuel saver" but hey, they sell those at my local parts store too.
