I was taking Relenza for treatment of my flu and sometimes I experience nausea and vomiting
Are these the common symptoms of taking relenza
The other question is should I stop relenza once I feel better before the 5 day course or should I complete the course

Afaik those symptoms are probably more flu related than relenza, otoh, its not one of those drugs that gets a high usage, so the side effect issues have probably yet to be determined. For example, I got wined and dined by Merck a few years back when they introduce Vioxx. When I noticed some side effects, it was really hard to make a judgement call, as it was so early, and all I had were the Merck propaganda. Well, after a few years usage, it appears cardiac susceptibility is entirely possible. Will unintended side effects be noted with Relenza, who knows? Its a big guessing game, until something has been on the market, and used in a given demographic for a while. Eg, Stevia (a porportedly natural sweetener substance) is pretty safe in Asia, it may be really dangerous here in the US. Until something has been on the market and used for a while, who knows.

The 5 day sequence is designed to miniminze the potential of developing a resistance to it.

The best solution is to ask your own doc, its a real pig in a poke for any of us to make a judgement call online.

Here is a link to some studies on Relenza
