now this is interesting, a tv program here in the uk investigated a myth or fact if a ice bullet would hit its target fully intact without melting. anyway they did the experiment, made the ice bullets fired them from guns and they melted before they hit the targets. could you imagine this kind of bullet, first it would hit the target say a human then melt on impact. even if they had the gun they could never match the bullet to say it came from it. now what if some kind of additive was mixed with the water to stop the heat temporarly, i mean it only has to last for a couple of seconds if that. i can see it now,ice bullets everywhere and no one to pin it on. I HAVE SOLVED THE ICE PROBLEM,BY EXPERIMENTING WITH ICE CUBES,BUT AFTER A LOT OF CONSIDERABILE THOUGHTS IT WILL DIE WITH ME BEFORE ANY BULLET HAS MY NAME ON IT. JOUK45

Humm.... I keep remembering a World War II idea, 'bout ice... And another ingredient you find on any household...
Am I close?

Remember, if you had the idea, it will be a mather of time before others have it, and water melting on a human body DOES leave traits.

And, there's the Sabot bullet technique, that leaves no gun barrel markings.

Anyhoo, a disposable gun barrel dropped on a Highway, or buried anywhere, or melted into oblivion, problem solved, specially if the perp buys a lot of gun barrels, uses them for his hits, and leaves the original on the gun...

For target practice! Smile

Remember, crooks make a living out of crime, they are allways one step ahead of the Law, and they do illegal stuff, backed by a underwold black market that's as old as Humankind!
