Once again, if you build something that doesn't preform the task it may help someone else understand your invention but it may not explain it completely. Prototyping can be hired out to a company that provided this service. There are many reputable companies that will produce a variety of goods. Most of these are quite expensive though. If you decide to prototype it yourself, try to start with something simple unless you have a background of tinkering. Take it slowly, and study construction methods that are beign used by others.
